Herbalism is the practice of using plants to support health and well-being. Rooted in traditional knowledge and informed by modern research, it may include teas, tinctures, foods, oils, and other plant-based preparations. Herbal care takes a whole-person approach, considering each individual’s needs, lifestyle, and overall health.

Herbalists work in a similar way to naturopathic doctors, taking a holistic approach that considers the whole person—not just individual symptoms. The key difference is that herbalists focus exclusively on all-natural, plant-based medicine. Recommendations are personalized to your unique needs and carefully consider your health history, lifestyle, supplements, and prescribed medications.

Our work begins with a complimentary 15-minute consultation to discuss what you’re looking for and determine whether we’re a good fit.
Next, you’ll complete a detailed intake form before your 90-minute initial consultation. During this deep-dive session, we’ll explore your health history, current concerns, lifestyle, medications, supplements, and wellness goals.
Afterward, you’ll receive a personalized wellness plan outlining your herbal protocol. Depending on your needs, it may also include supportive food, movement, and lifestyle recommendations.
A two-week check-in is highly recommended so we can discuss how you’re responding to the herbs and make adjustments if needed. Additional follow-up appointments are then scheduled according to your individual needs.

Herbal teas are made by steeping softer plant parts, such as leaves and flowers, in hot water. They offer a gentle and familiar way to incorporate herbs into your daily routine.
Tinctures are concentrated liquid herbal extracts made with alcohol. They are taken in small amounts and are convenient for busy individuals.
Glycerites are alcohol-free versions of tinctures made with vegetable glycerin. Their naturally sweet taste makes them a popular option for children and anyone who prefers to avoid alcohol.
Decoctions are similar to herbal teas, but they are gently simmered for a longer period instead of simply steeped. This stronger preparation is typically used for tougher plant parts, such as roots, bark, and seeds.
Herbal oils are made by infusing herbs into a carrier oil. They are typically applied to the skin for soothing and nourishing support.
